- From Shea Kennedy: I know exactly what you are going through. I just had my baby 11/2 and he was only 26 weeks. He weighed 2lbs 14oz. He will probably be in this hospital until at least February if not longer. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know I will keep David in my prayers. I will also pray for you to have to strength you need to stay strong.

- From Juliana Abraham, John's niece: Our church group here in Maryland are also praying for them. And, I sent an e-mail to my husband's family in India who will be praying too...
- From Mary Vojtko, John's sister: We have a prayer team going at our church for David. One thing David has done in his short life is bring a lot of people to their knees in prayer. What a testimony! We keep praying.
